I am a little behind. I've had some busy weeks but hopefully things are starting to slow down a little and I can catch up with my blogging. .
First of all, how about those HOKIES?!!! I was so happy to see them beat the UT Vols. VT and UT couldn't work out an agreement in previous years to play each other...Well, should I say UT didn't seem to want to play us. Now I know why. I have family members (Bless their hearts!) that root for UT and Matt's sister went to grad school there so, at Christmas, we were reminded of the game on both sides of the family. It was a good game....a great game where we finally were able to win a game at the Georgia Dome. I'll leave well enough alone after saying it must have been a rocky ride home for the UT fans after they volunteered to get beat my the Hokies.
Matt and I went to the Outer Banks for New Years with friends. We made it in time on NYE to watch the game and spent the rest of the time relaxing. This house was super nice with a nice open kitchen, dining, and sitting area, 9 bedrooms, a putting green inside, media room with a 120 inch screen, and hot tub. It was everything you could ask for. And, we have such awesome friends, so with that being said, we had a fantastic relaxing New Years! (I didn't take many pictures but I'll include a few from our nice weekend that ended way too fast.)
